Mel B sent rumours flying this week as she divulged information over a potential Spice Girl reunion for the Queen’s diamond Jubilee concert.
The event is being organised by Gary Barlow and will take place at Buckingham Palace on June 4.
A source told the mirror: “All the girls are desperate for some Spice action except Posh who is simply too busy – she loves the girls and wants to support them and the fans but doesn’t see how she has the time when her fashion business is so successful.
She has a very small team that she is hands-on with all day, every day. Every spare minute she has is spent with her children.”
Mel B recently admitted on an Australian TV interview that she would “love it” if the band reformed.
She added: “I think the Queen’s jubilee concert is the event I’d be looking at more closely for it to happen. I would never say never. I think it’s possible. I’d love it if we got back together and got to go on tour.”
The band – whose No1 hits include ‘Wannabe’ and ’2 Become 1′ split in 2000 before reuniting for a hugely successful comeback tour in 2007.
