Alexa Chung is the latest fashionista to design a version of the iconic Pudsey Bear for the charity Children in Need - following the likes of designers Henry Holland, Giles, Mulberry, Jonathan Saunders, Erdem and many others who came together to create a unique collection which was exhibited back in November.
The traditional yellow Pudsey was recreated in an array of different colours, fabrics and patterns – from suede to velvet and rainbow to floral prints. The fashion muse created her bear with a beautiful blue velvet coat, complete with white bandana featuring embroidered red love hearts.
“I’ve grown up with BBC Children in Need and it’s always amazing to see the power it has in bringing the UK together to help disadvantaged children,” Chung told Vogue UK. “This was, I hope, my way of making a difference.”
The bear will be auctioned off on eBay, with all proceeds going to Children In Need.
