Kim Kardashian Gets ‘Flour Bombed’

Kim Kardashian

Well, this is a random story for your Friday morning, Kim Kardashian was yesterday ‘flour bombed’ on the red carpet of an event to promote her new perfume True Reflection.

The E! reality star was left humilated in front of hundreds of fans, paparazzi and staff at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, after an unidentified asian women stormed the red carpet event, throwing baking flour all over Kim’s head.

Still in a bit of a daze, the 31-year-old beauty was quickly escorted away from the messy scene, followed by mum and manager Kris Jenner who could be seen in the background posing for photographers.

Acting as professional as possible, poor Kim quickly dusted herself off before returning back to the event, where she laughed off the incident, telling E!: “That probably is the craziest, unexpected, wierd thing that ever happened to me. Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there.”

Partner in crime Kris Jenner also laughed it off, saying: “If anybody comes at me with something, call security.”

And sisters Kourtney and Khloe were quick to the defense, taking to twitter, Kourtney said:

“Classy to flour bomb my sister at her charity event helping women. I wonder if they would have dared thrown the flour at my hormonal and pregnant self!”

Khloe added: “I’m proud of how Kim handled the situation.”

“I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn’t have dared tried a thing…”

Later, she too joked about the situation and said: “I love you @KimKardashian you are a flour princess! :) see you in the morning sister!”

According to reports from TMZ, the attacker, who was rumoured to be an anti-fur activist, was detained by security whilst the fire deparement and paramedics were called to the scene as a precaution, though they later left the hotel after determining the substance was not dangerous and was infact cooking powder. The women was also later released after Kim told deputies that she did not wish to press charges.

The attack coincidentally comes just months after somebody flour bombed Kim’s best friend Jonathan Cheban in New York City as the pair walked near the Kardashian sisters popular boutique Dash.

Luckily though, on this occasion nobody was hurt and no designer clothing wasted, as Kim returned back to the red carpet just minutes later to show off her brilliantly put together outfit of an on trend black blazer, electric blue colour clash blouse and statement black leather trousers.

Way to handle the situation, Kim!
