Legend Tony Curtis Dies At Home, Aged 85

Legendary actor, Tony Curtis, has died of a heart attack after struggling with his health for a number of years.  His sixth wife and widow today paid tribute to the actor whilst weeping with grief over her loss.  Curtis is said to have died “peacefully” at his home at the age of 85.

Jill Curtis,  made a brief statement outside the couple’s Las Vegas home saying “All Tony ever wanted to be was a movie star… ever since he was a little kid.’

His smoking habit of 30 years is said to have played a big part in his bad health.

His daughter, actress Jamie Lee Curtis, said in a statement: ‘My father leaves behind a legacy of great performances in movies… He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in-laws who were devoted to him. He also leaves behind fans all over the world.’

The star of more than 140 Hollywood movies, Curtis was a renowned womaniser who married six times and had high-profile girlfriends including Marilyn Monroe but he was now happily married to a woman  42 years his junior.
