Following Paul’s capsule collection earlier this year, comes the release of his first ever full collection for Liam Gallagher’s fashion range Pretty Green.
“I enjoyed designing my first capsule collection for Pretty Green and wanted to continue the collaboration by designing a larger range” the style icon said.
Once again, all the pieces have been designed by Weller himself – the extended collection includes tailoring, coats, shoes, knitwear, and jersey wear which can be worn throughout these autumn/winter months and into spring next year.
With buttoned-up tulip collared shirts, smart pinstripe 3 piece suits, and skinny fit trousers a-plenty – the collection oozes with the Modish style that is so associated with Weller. It’s not then surprising that the ex-Jam and The Style Council singer has been quoted as saying…
“I have taken my inspiration from the 60′s and 70′s and have reflected my own style in the collection.”
Having previously styled a range for Ben Sherman (a brand which is synonymous with Mod and youth-culture) Paul certainly has a keen eye for fashion and it’s clear that this is no typical celeb-collaboration.
The mod-look has truly entered into twenty first century fashion thanks to those such as Weller and Mr Liam Gallager himself. Which goes to show how timeless this look is – comprising that rock and roll edge with a dapper twist.
