Russell Brand was yesterday arrested at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after an alleged attack on a member of the paparazzi.
The British comedian was travelling with his fiance Katy Perry when he is said to have become irate at a photographer. It is believed the photographer attempted to take snaps up Ms. Perry’s dress.
Katy Perry went on to tweet to the world that Brand had acted in her defence.
She wrote: ‘If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me…’
We like Katy Perry but here’s a thought… why not protect your own ass, literally, by wearing a non buttocks skimming dress?
According to other reports, another photographer made a citizen’s arrest on Mr Brand before police stepped in. After the arrest police photographed the alleged victim, capturing what appeared to be a bruise on the left side of his face.
Both Brand and Perry missed their scheduled flights to Las Vegas as a result.
Whilst it may appear romantic to some to have one’s lover behave in a protective manner, how wholly unnecessary the whole thing sounds!
We like Katy Perry but here’s a thought… why not protect your own ass, literally, by wearing a non-buttocks-skimming dress? Not condoning the photographer’s unacceptable behaviour but if a breeze had blown her dress upwards the world would have seen her backside anyway!
