Sean Penn and Charlize Theron Together?

Sexy Sean PennRumour has it that Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are secretly dating.  Both are sexy, single and seeking affection… what better fit could there be!

Sean Penn and his wife of 14 years, Robin Wright, divorced in July 2010 after some on-again off-again moments.  Charlize Theron, recently split from long-term partner Stuart Townsend.  After having recently been linked to a few other men such as Keanu Reeves, Theron has reportedly been seen kissing and cuddling with Penn at a late night party in Hollywood.

The pair have actually been friends for a long time and it is understandable that now that there are no partners, they’re taking solace in one another.  Considering they’ve both recently come out of long term relationships it wouldn’t be surprising if they are both on the rebound.  That said, this would be one hot Hollywood couple I’d be much more interested in hearing about than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.  Pitt looks like he’s stuck in a rebound relationship and Jolie always looks desperately fake, with her contrived display of “happiness” she stages for the world: “Oooh, look how happy and into each other we are… honest”.

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn may be together  and maybe Sean Penn will feel better understood by Theron (than he has by the rest of the world) but we shall have to wait and see.  Whatever is going on is currently very low key.

Sean Penn is perhaps regarded as a bit of an outsider because he cares enough about the mankind to take a stand and to devote his time to good causes.  Back in October 2002 Penn paid £56,000 to place an advert in the Washington Post to highlight that the then US President George W. Bush had already planned  an attack on Iraq under the guise of the “War on Terror” and Penn was also seen at anti-war campaigns.  This outraged the US government yet Penn, a true activist also visited Iraq in December 2002 as a reporter.  He has recently been helping the earthquake victims of Haiti just as he helped the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

No wonder Penn feels like an outsider, speaking so vehemently for good causes as a Hollywood A-lister takes guts.  With a massively successful career spanning 30 years, you can slag him off because he wants to do some good with his money and status but you can’t shut him up, and for that Sean Penn, we thank you.
