It’s that time of year again, it’s freezing outside and layers are a must have when hitting the high street for those Christmas shopping sprees.
The cold weather doesn’t need to be fashion’s worst enemy with the big jumper and cardigan now becoming more stylish than ever. There are hundreds to choose from, whether you fancy something sparkly, long sleeved, short sleeved, with buttons or without, there is bound to be one you’ll fall in love with.
A particular favourite of mine is the “Christmas jumper”, think Mr Darcy from Bridget Jones’s Diary but a lot less gran and a lot more glam! Christmas jumpers are perfect for getting cosy this winter and the quirkier the design the better!
Embroidery is also huge this season (check out the cute pompom design on the jumper below) and with designers such as Paul Smith and Luis Vuitton featuring the trend in their Autumn/Winter 2010 catwalk collections, the haberdashery inspired designs definitely deserve a place in your winter wardrobe.
There is no need to choose between being warm and boring or freezing and fabulous so take a look at these little beauties and strut those snowy streets in style!
