Do You Dare…?

Jessie J - nail artAnother year and the wheel of fashion continues to turn but 2012 promises to put a new spin on how we view ourselves.

Fashion editors in 2012 have looked up in astonishment and seen the landscape of fashion conscious women everywhere change as never before.

In the twilight of 2011, we saw the likes of Jessie J and Caroline Flack setting new trends and like these fearsome fashionistas, you too have been inspired to be bolder and braver in your choice of make-up, nail art, tousled tresses and accessories.

These pretty yet edgy finishing touches are set to be taking over runways, the high streets and billboards alike in 2012.

So, to get some neat ideas on how to shake-up your look this new year, look no further than LoveScene Magazine and prepare to be inspired.

It’s great to see that more and more of you have been experimenting with the latest rather brave hair trend: dip-dye curls. This otherwise quite hard and edgy look saw a comeback recently and coupled with pretty make-up, still manages to look chic and very on-trend.

Caroline Flack - dip dye curlsIn the celebrity world, we have seen many fashion faces trying out this look. Caroline Flack, Fearne Cotton and Alexa Chung stay pretty and feminine  whilst getting to grips with longer, slightly darker hair from the roots which then cascades into tousled, honey blonde locks and I have to say, they look absolutely fantastic.

Another trend which seems to be taking over nail and beauty salons is that women everywhere are clamouring for statement nail art this season, reminiscent of Lady Gaga and Jessie J.

If you’re feeling like you might like to try out such statement nails, you could start by trying out some nail products widely sold by such a brand as Nails Inc. London and their Magnetic Polish range which seem to be very popular at the moment. Or you might try, my personal favourite, Get Cracking Polish, also by Nails Inc. London.

Team these new looks with luminous, dewy skin and beautifully feminine and feline eyes and you’re good to go!
