Rumours among the fashion mill speculate that Tom Ford may be the next designer to collaborate with H&M.
When asked about teaming up with the designer, Margareta Van Den Bosch, creative director for the high street chain said Ford was an “interesting name” and added that “she wouldn’t mind” when asked about the partnership.
A line created by Ford would be the ninth designer to team up with H&M, whose most recent partnership with Versace saw hoards of fashion fans queue up for hours to get a piece of the Italian fashion house, and later sold out.
Previous designers to collaborate with the high street giant have included Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Matthew Williamson and Karl Lagerfeld.
Since leaving Gucci in 2004, Ford has produced a celebrated beauty line and an even more credited fan base.
Such a collection would surely create great interest and one we would certainly sign ourselves up for.
